I don’t normally leave reviews. But I think this market deserves a shoutout and a more fair review. First, I am very grateful for it being the only Chinese market in Newton! I no longer have to venture into Allston or drive ALL the way to Quincy or the Chinatown! Second, the market is very clean and has minimal odor. I really hope they will keep it up!!👍🏼 Yes, they have a live seafood area and it does have the smell of shellfish/ fish as expected, but I did not see any “dead” turtles or dead fish floating around. Third, they have everything (sauces and Chinese greens) I was looking for and more. Finally, the workers there are friendly and do speak English. I had no problem communicating with them. So, overall, it is great to finally have a Chinese Asian market in Newton! I really hope they will be able keep it clean and free of fishy smell in the future.

Very spacious and convenient for Asian goods. A good selection of fresh seafood as well.
